Who we are
Welcome to Dark Webb Designs—where flight-deck grit meets laser-sharp creativity.
I’m Zach Webb, a proud Ohioan, husband, father of three, and a C-17 Loadmaster in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. When I’m not bouncing around the globe, you’ll find me in the workshop, coaxing a UV laser across powder-coated metal to bring aviation-inspired art to life.
How it started
17 years in uniform—and thousands of hours in the cavernous belly of the C-17—taught me two things:
Every mission tells a story. From hauling bombs to record-breaking evacuations, each tail number carries its own legacy.
Details matter. In the air they keep crews safe; in the shop they turn a plain bottle or wallet into a keepsake worthy of a squadron coin.
What began as a late-night hobby has grown into a small business that ships metal tumblers, wallets, zyyn cans and more to aircrew and aviation buffs worldwide.
What drives us
Aviation in every line. From pin-up nose-art tributes to technical C-17 schematics, each design is rooted in the culture and humor of the flight line.
Military precision. We use top-grade fiber and UV lasers, dial in every pass, and test-burn scrap before we touch your final piece—because checklists don’t only belong in cockpits.
Service over self. A portion of profits supports Reach 848, a nonprofit my wife launched to bolster Guard and Reserve members’ mental health after a teammate’s tragic loss.
Why choose Dark Webb Designs?
Whether you’re hunting for a one-off “call-sign” bottle, outfitting an entire squadron with deployment gifts, or looking to immortalize a Distinguished Flying Cross citation, you’ll work directly with the guy who both flies in the jet and runs the laser. No middlemen, no generic clip-art—just authentic aircrew craftsmanship you can feel in every etched groove.
Thank you for cruising by. Clear skies, tight cargo chains, and laser lines that never drift—
